Castrol Honda unveil new bike and motorcycle clothing
Castrol Honda debuted their new bike and motorcycle clothing during a test at the Aragon circuit in Spain, although the launch was let down by the weather.
Unusually cold conditions prevented new riders Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus from completing more than 40 laps on the machine and properly testing the Ohlins suspension systems.
However, having missed the official test session at the track in October, the new team were grateful to get some experience of the circuit under their belts.
Rea enjoyed getting back into his motorcycle clothing and being on the bike, but admitted the team are playing catch-up.
He said: "We were understandably a little way off where our rivals were when they had three days testing here last October.
"But when we come back in June, at least we won't be starting completely blind."
The Ten Kate Racing team led Honda's World Superbike project between 2004 and 2004, with Castrol stepping in to offer its support again for the new season.
