State-of-the-art Ohlins suspension systems have been used on the new Triumph Daytona motorcycle.

The new Daytona 675R comes with the revolutionary 43mm NIX30 Ohlins forks, which are usually only found on exotic Italian machines.

Also included on the bike, which the manufacturer describes as the "ultimate road and track-day motorcycle", is a TTX36 Ohlins shock absorber.

This particular shock was developed for the MotoGP series, which further highlights Triumph's ambition to make this bike one that would be truly appreciated by expert riders.

Other features on the 675R include Brembo brakes and an Arrow slip-on silencer, while the bike produces 123bhp at 12,000rpm. Visually, the bike has a sportier look than the standard 675, with the addition of new graphics and carbon fibre bodywork.

Triumph recently celebrated 20 years since the successful relaunch of the brand with a festival at the Mallory Park circuit in Leicestershire.
