Superbike team works to optimise Ohlins suspension systems
The new ZX 10R is under test with superbike teamsWorld Superbike Championship outfit Team Pedercini has been working to perfect its Ohlins suspensions systems set-up for next season.
Team manger Donato Pedercini has stressed that the team is in cooperation with the Swedish manufacturer over ensuring that the Ohlins forks and shocks optimise the performance of the Kawasaki ZX 10R, Superbike News reports.
It is a completely new bike so there are a lot of unknown areas for the team to work through, which is why getting the set-up of the forks and Ohlins shock absorbers is so important.
In addition, the team has announced that veteran Roberto Rolfo will be competing for the team in the 2011 series, after a year in the Moto2 class.
"Everyone in our team is absolutely delighted to welcome Roberto back to Superbike … we are all looking forward to reaching very good results with him," Pedercini told the publication.
Kawasaki recently announced that it would be extending its support for riders of the ZX 10R to the National Superstock series.
