Yamaha has unveiled an updated version of its XJ6 Diversion F at Carole Nash Motorcycle Live, complete with Ohlins suspension systems.

The Japanese manufacturer has decided to add the high-specification parts to the Diversion machine, in order to give it a sportier edge, according to the Motorcycle News.

This new model includes Ohlins forks alongside Gaffer Wave front brake discs and two-finger ASV brake levers, as well as a double bubble windscreen.

There is also a £410 Ohlins shock absorber on the rear, to give the bike better balance, the publication notes.

It notes that buying the XJ6 Diversion F with this specification - including the £1,200 Altamura paint job - would cost somewhere in the region of £9,000.

Yamaha is not the only manufacturer unveiling new models at the Motorcycle Live Event. Aprilia has revealed its new Tuono V4R naked bike, while Kawasaki has put its 2011 ZX-10R on display.
