Canadian superbike rider Dan Kruger pointed to the quality of his Ohlins suspension system as he finished the Superbike Premier Class season with two wins.

Kruger controlled both races from the start on his Kawasaki ZX-10R only seemed to need to push the bike in order to maintain a comfortable cushion over the second placed rider.

The rider explained that his Kawasaki machine had been fast and his Ohlins forks well balanced from the start, allowing him to qualify more than a second and a half quicker than anyone else.

He said: "The bike was hooked up and the Ohlins suspension was amazing.

"I was feeling a little under the weather during race one and even had to deal with severe forearm pump for the final four to five laps."

As Kruger rounds off his road racing season, riders from the World Superbike Championship have already started looking at their bikes for next year.

New Yamaha man Eugene Laverty was particularly quick at one recent test, trying out new Ohlins forks and out-lapping reigning champion Max Biaggi.
