New Ohlins front forks could be tested by Nicky Hayden in Malaysia
Various Ohlins front fork options could be tested by Nicky Hayden for Ducati during the Malaysia test next week.
The American admitted in an interview with Cyclenews that his team were still some way off tweaking the bike to meet his very specific requirements.
He told the website: "I still haven't found my race bike package yet.
"We definitely eliminated some stuff, like the big fairing, which is sort of a shame because of all the aerodynamic work that went into it. But it was just a little bit too big, especially in the change of directions."
MotoGP competitors will be pulling on their motorcycle clothing for testing at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on February 22nd, ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix at Losail Circuit on March 20th.
Riders will not pull on their motorbike helmets for the official Malaysian Grand Prix until October 23rd.
